Written by The Cabin Boyz (Shawn DePasquale and Matthew Cohen) with art by Unai de Zarate, Run from the Sun begins with a woman waking up on a remote tropical island with no memory of how she got there. She quickly discovers she has been abducted by an eccentric group of wealthy elites who hunt human beings for sport. There is just one problem with their latest prey. She is a vampire.Now stranded beneath the island’s brutal, sun-scorched daylight, she must survive long enough to reach nightfall, when the hunters become the hunted.

The debut issue has already earned praise from bestselling writer Charles Soule (Eight Billion Genies, Daredevil): “Despite the vampires, this book very much does not suck. Such a fun read!”

Run from the Sun #1 features 28 full-color pages and will be released with four covers, including open-order variants by Renan Shody, Bruno Oliveira, and Maria Laura Sanapo, plus a 1:10 UV spot gloss incentive cover by Jason Shawn Alexander.
