Resting On Its Laurel?

♦Arrow returns with episode 10 on 25 January on the CW in the US so here’s an extended promo, courtesy of Television Promos…

The synopsis is still under wraps but obviously there are still repercussions from the crossover a month or so ago and our friends over at Screen Rant did manage to tease a few things out of the show’s executive producer Wendy Mericle earlier in December:

“One thing Felicity is not going to do, I can tell you for sure, is blame Oliver. She recognizes the manipulations that have led to this situation. Her heart is broken in that last moment for Oliver and for Malone and for herself.”

So when it comes to directing her anger, “Felicity has set her sights on Prometheus,” Mericle points out. “This season we have said we’re going to take her to a darker place, and you’re seeing the genesis of the reason why, right here.”

So Felicity “is going to meet some people who are both a bit tied to her past but also very much tied to this new future she’s contemplating,” Mericle implies, “and that’s going to draw her away from the team and lead her to do some things that are pretty morally questionable.”

So keep your eyes peeled here as we shall have more information on the second part of the new season as it gets closer to transmission.
