♦ Not long to go until Luke Cage debuts on Netflix in September.

Mike Coulter, as Luke Cage, fights Mahershera Ali’s Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, there’s a glimpse of Simone Missick as Misty Knight, as well as Alfre Woodard’s Mariah Dillard and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple. The series looks stunningly well shot, and is well-cast all along the line, with Coulter as a grittily convincing Cage.

Amusing (and pointless) trivia – Luke Cage is the character who comic fan, and noted film actor, Nicholas Cage took his last name from. Wacky stuff eh?
