One of our favourite comic illustrators, Tim Bradstreet, has a new art book on kickstarter and it looks pretty amazing…

A Brand-New 176-page HC collection of new work from the legendary Illustrator. Tim Bradstreet. A new kind of art book project from Tim, (his first new collection in nearly 15 years!) one that celebrates his love of film by creating and producing a collection of artwork that is both refreshingly new and immediately familiar.

Keeping the focus on this collision of the worlds of Film and Art, this initial volume collects new artwork celebrating 75 classic films and includes essays to accompany each film entry, the majority written by Tim himself.  See some sample spreads below

Every page is packed with gorgeous new art, most of which has never been seen before. Tim has been working on pieces for this project for nearly over 7 years, before he even knew what Cinematica would eventually evolve into, the beautiful collection available here for the first time anywhere. This initial volume also includes a brand-new introduction from legendary comics writer, Jimmy Palmiotti!

And we even have some copies of Tim’s previous art books “Maximum Black” and “Archetype” available as add-ons. Original signed editions taken from fresh, sealed cases from Tim’s archive. These are the last new copies we know of.

The risks here are minimal; we have a successful, experienced publisher working for us, the book is complete and ready to go to print as soon as the campaign ends (successfully!) and we can all exhale and start working on Volume Two.
