Continuing To Celebrate The Artistic Legacy Of An Artistic Fantasy Genius

It ends in just nine days on Kickstarter but American Hero Press’s Second Volume In The Frazetta Gallery Series Warriors has already had an amazing campaign so far…

WARRIORS will be available in softcover, hardcover and limited, slipcased editions. A Kickstarter campaign, which began on 5 September, is giving all fans of great illustration a chance to be the first to pledge for this “must-have” volume of Frazetta classics!

“Not that I could ever redo Frazetta on film — he created a world and a mood that are impossible to simulate —
but my goal in ‘Conan the Barbarian’ was to tell a story that was shaped by Frazetta and Wagner.
– John Milius (Director, Conan The Barbarian, Co-writer Apocalypse Now)

The Introduction to the WARRIORS volume comes from Frankie Frazetta, grandson of Frank Frazetta and curator of The Frazetta Art Museum in East Stroudsburg, PA which contains the largest collection of Frazetta originals in the world. Frankie’s goal is the ongoing preservation of the work of his grandfather and maintaining accessibility for all his fans to visit.

WARRIORS also features a foreword by Simon Bisley, along with observant appreciations from artists Bill Sienkiewicz, Petar Mesaldzija, Liam Sharp, Jodi Muir; writer Jim Zub; Museum Curator Jesse Kowalski; and Frazetta documentary filmmaker Lance LaSpina to bring a more personal context to the work. Additional sketches, roughs and photos round out the rich dive into perhaps the most important segment of the master’s achievements!

Details about each of the three pledge tiers, as well as stretch goals can be found at the Kickstarter launch page.

A limited number of copies of the first volume, TERROR, will also be available as an add-on for Kickstarter supporters. This campaign will run for a limited time, be sure to pledge early so you don’t miss out!
