Alien At 40: Check Out Another One Of The Anniversary Shorts
Living Alone?
Fox have commissioned six short films to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Ridley Scott’s Alien and here’s another one of them from our friends at IGN…
To celebrate Alien’s 40th anniversary and in partnership with Tongal, 20th Century Fox is releasing new Alien-universe fan-made short films leading up to Alien Day on April 26th. Written and directed by Noah Miller, the synopsis for “Alone” reads, “Hope, an abandoned crew member aboard the derelict chemical hauler Otranto, has spent a year trying to keep her ship and herself alive as both slowly fall apart. After discovering hidden cargo, she risks it all to power up the broken ship in search of human life.” But the Alien fun isn’t over just yet! 20th Century Fox revealed that, to mark the 40th anniversary of Alien, the movie will return to more than 600 theaters for three days only — October 13, 15 and 16 — as part of Fathom Events and Turner Classic Movies’ yearlong TCM Big Screen Classic Series.
