Tripwire’s latest kickstarter campaign, to fund two new calendars, is on pre-launch now on Kickstarter and here’s a few details and a few pieces of art from them…
This time around, we are trying something a little different: A calendar featuring the unique art we have created for our Sherlock Holmes and The Empire Builders graphic novel series. Art from the likes of industry legend Walter Simonson (Manhunter, Thor), Dan (Conan, Batman) Panosian, Frazer Irving (Batman, 2000AD), Eisner award winning artist Laurence Campbell (The One Hand, The Sword Of Hypoborea), Batman The Last Halloween artist Mark Chiarello and Shawn Martinbrough (Thief of Thieves).
These handsome-looking calendars will feature a selection of unique art in a format not seen before. As well as the regular calendars, people will be able to get signed versions of them from Irving and Campbell as part of the campaign.
As well as the Holmes calendar, we are also including a calendar featuring the unique art of UK comics artist Frazer Irving which people will be able to grab as part of this campaign.
We have attracted a cross section of fans for the series since we launched it back in 2020 and this is a new way to appreciate the art we have commissioned from some of the finest artists working in comics in the UK and US today.
