Cast and filmmakers from “Avatar: Fire and Ash” arrived at the BFI IMAX last Thursday for the UK premiere of the eagerly anticipated film as part of a global tour. James Cameron was live streamed onto the cinema screen to introduce his cast to the stage which included Sigourney Weaver, Oona Chaplin, Stephen Lang, David Thewlis, Jemaine Clement, Jamie Flatters alongside costume designer Deborah Scott and the composer Simon Franglen.…

Earlier that afternoon, the actors unveiled a spectacular 11 metre sculpture on the river Thames against the backdrop of London’s iconic Tower Bridge.

The third film in Oscar®-winning filmmaker James Cameron’s phenomenally successful “Avatar” franchise opens exclusively in cinemas worldwide on 19 December in IMAX 3D, Dolby Cinema 3D and 2D, RealD 3D, Standard 2D, DBOX, 4DX, ScreenX, and premium screens.

With “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” James Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and the Sully family. “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” which is directed by James Cameron and features a screenplay by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and a story by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver & Josh Friedman & Shane Salerno, is produced by James Cameron, p.g.a., and Jon Landau, p.g.a., with Richard Baneham, Rae Sanchini, and David Valdes serving as executive producers.
