* First new work in print, 2024! THE STEPHEN KING CATALOG 2024 ANNUAL, edited by Dave Hinchberger, cover and Interior art by Glenn Chadbourne, and I’m among the writers who’ve contributed new work to this volume.

Copy arrived in the mail today (thanks, Dave, you’re a class act!) & overjoyed to be part of this.

* Delivered not one but three sound files for my first blu-ray bonus feature/commentary track gig of 2024, title & label TBA (once they announced it).

I can only say this: it’s a looooooooong one (hence the multiple sound files), longest feature film I’ve yet done anything for, and it’s a beauty.

This is in fact my second delivery of bonus feature content in the past two weeks to this excellent client/label for two of their upcoming 2024 releases, both of which I’m really excited about. I’ve already said ‘yes’ to more, shifting gears from my 2023 abstinence (imposed by circumstance beyond anyone’s control: we had a family emergency much of spring/fall and all of summer 2023) on this freelance path I’m on of late, and very much enjoying.

I had new work out every single month of 2023, despite everything. You wouldn’t know it, since none of the “journalism” out there cares a whit about my non-comics efforts, but what the hell. Life goes on, work goes on, & I’m feeling privileged to be working at all at this point in my life…
