We always like to support comics-related crowdfunding campaigns and Peruvian creator Gustaffo Vargas, currently based in Edinburgh, has just launched a new campaign to fund his Anticucho and Other Peruvian Cyberpunk Stories on Kickstarter…
ANTICUCHO & other Peruvian Cyberpunk stories is a graphic novel anthology created by Gustaffo Vargas. ANTICUCHO will reprint the previously published L1MA comic and bring two new stories connected to their characters, the Piraña street gang: TAYTA UKUKU and ANTICUCHO, and is set in the same world as previous Peruvian Cyberpunk titles.
The graphic novel anthology will be 88 pages, full colour, album size (close to A4 size, 28cm x 19.8cm / 11 inch x 7.8 inch), and will be available in hardcover, softcover, and digital formats.
The Kickstarter Campaign
The ANTICUCHO Kickstarter Campaign was funded on the first day and is a Project We Love by Kickstarter. The launch was on the 27 July and will run until 31 August.
In the campaign, backers can also get the full catalogue of Peruvian Cyberpunk books MANU, PUNO, PILCUYO, L1MA & TRUJILLO in physical or digital formats, original comic pages, stickers and prints.

About the author:
Gustaffo Vargas is a Peruvian comic book artist and writer based in the UK. He is the creator of Peruvian Cyberpunk comics.
He has worked for Marvel’s Voices X-Men with Al Ewing and Lauren Amaro, for IMAGE comics Anthology #10 WTFK: A Lyrical with Jeff Boison, has done illustration work for Shelly Bond and Declan Shalvey, worked with Dan Abnett for the sci-fi comic CRAYTA as lead artist and character designer.
He has also worked with UK independent publishers, and is one of the Skrawllordz who publishes SKRAWL comix magazine.
