Over on CNN a couple of days ago, Maus creator Art Spiegelman just reacted to the news this week that The McMinn County Board of Education in Tennessee just banned his book from their list…

Maus was originally serialised in Raw Magazine and then published as a standalone graphic novel in 1991. It has won a Pulitzer Prize, an Eisner, a Harvey and an Angoulême International Comics Festival Awards prize. Spiegelman’s tale is one of the most highly-regarded works of graphic fiction of the past forty years.
