Building to a Crescendo in Gotham

Gotham will be taking an inevitable midseason break the week before next but in a season that has seen the status quo shaken up with Theo Galavan (James Frain) exerting his influence, new police captain Nathaniel Barnes (Michael Chiklis) now in charge and The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) showing their true colours, the fireworks aren’t finished yet. The synopsis is a little vague: When Bruce Wayne is kidnapped, Gordon must look to some unlikely and dangerous allies for help. It is a battle of the villains and not everyone makes it out alive.
