Serkis, Reeves and Clark Talk Next Planet of The Apes At NYCC

At this year’s New York Comic Con, Tripwire Magazine’s EIC Joel Meadows took part in a round table with cast and crew of the upcoming chapter in the Planet Of The Apes franchise, WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES: star Andy Serkis (Caesar), Matt Reeves (director) and Dylan Clark (producer).

This latest installment sees the conflict between the surviving humans and the burgeoning apes civilisation reaching breaking point, with Caesar faced with both sides ready to annihilate the other. With production stresses, story pressures and the need to fulfill the audiences expectations to up the ante, the filmmakers talk here about the drive to present their own stories while living up to the legacy of the original films.
