The Last Wizard Standing

Writer and storyteller Mark Millar (Civil War, Kingsman) and Dark Horse Comics present the conclusion of The Magic Order. The fate of the world and the fate of magic are tied to five families across the globe, each bestowed with secret power to protect our existence from dangerous supernatural and magical threats. Artist Matteo Buffagni (Daken Dark Wolverine, Avengers Assemble) and colourist Giovanna Niro (Orfani, The Bounce) join Millar in The Magic Order Volume 5. The cover is by Buffagni and Niro, and the graphic novel collection will arrive in comic shops and bookstores in July 2025. The Magic Order is also set to become a live-action Netflix series…

In the final volume of The Magic Order:

Cordelia Moonstone, the leader of the family of wizards who look after the world and protect us from the creatures lurking in the dark, has been told she will die soon, and there is nothing she can do about it. One by one wizards have been picked off by their enemies ever since Cordelia used black magic, and now she’s the last wizard standing as they make their final push. Breaking the rules has brought serious consequences and the price of her transgressions appears to be her life! But there is no chance she is going down without a fight.

This has been an astonishing series, and The Magic Order Volume 5 is set to be the best one yet. Find the 152-page (6.625” x 10.1875”) paperback collection in bookstores on July 8, 2025, and comic shops on July 9, 2025 for $19.99.
