Cartoon Network Brings Time Travelling Samurai Back in 2016

Adult Swim has announced that Genndy Tartakovsky’s celebrated animated series Samurai Jack will be returning to Cartoon Network for a new run in 2016. This would be a staggering 12 years after the fourth season’s finale, which was presumed at the time to be the show’s end. Tartovsky has been confirmed as participating in this continuation, but it’s unknown in what capacity he will fill for the new season.
