Legends of Tomorrow Has Its Jonah Hex

The Future Has a Western Flavour

♦According to our friends at Deadline, Jonathon Schaech has been picked as Jonah Hex in Legends of Tomorrow...

News broke earlier this month that the team would be meeting Hex in the series. The Jonah Hex character was introduced back in 1972 in the All-Star Western comic book series from DC. He was a Confederate soldier captured and then tortured by the Union Army during the Civil War. The character also is no stranger to time travel: In issue #92 of his eponymous series, he was abducted and transported into a postapocalyptic future. He was portrayed by Josh Brolin in the disastrous box office flop Jonah Hex back in 2010.

Schaech joins Legends Of Tomorrow cast members Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Victor Garber, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Ciara Renée, Franz Drameh, Arthur Darvill and Falk Hentschel. He may be a recurring character after he is first introduced.

Schaech has appeared as a recurring character on Quantico, Texas Rising, Star-Crossed and Ray Donovan. His feature film credits include Quarantine, Takers and That Thing You Do!
