Fairsquare Graphics’ Noir Is The New Black season two issue #2’s campaign is on Kickstarter for another five days and here’s a few details about how people can support this cool project…

You know the drill now, this season of Noir Is the New Black is all about continuing stories. So, just like last issue, get a new installment of:

• THE WINTERFIELDS by Joe Illidge and ChrisCross.
Cain Winterfield and his son are on the run. They’re also on a mission: protect a young girl from being a target.

• WHAT’S IN A NAME? by Tyrone Finch and Todd Harris.
The story of a man living undercover and whose life is going to be altered by a bank robbery he’s not even asked to be apart of…
A new tale reuniting the creators of “Vera’s List” from the original Noir Is the New Black who also are Hollywood powerhouses!

• LITTLE ROCK FILES by Greg Burnham and Quinn McGowan.
Nothing is really as it seems in Little Rock Files . After an explosive chapter in S02E01, Greg and Quinn get Detective Ousley closer to the truth about Kevin’s murder. But who will survive this?

– Joseph P. Illidge is a groundbreaking writer with an editorial legacy spanning from Milestone Comics to DC Comics’ Batman franchise. He is writing for Image Comics and Todd McFarlane Productions on BLOODLETTER, the horror spy action series for the Spawn Universe, DC Comics on Milestone’sTHE SHADOW CABINET, and the upcoming HARRIET TUBMAN middle grade graphic novel for Harper Collins.

– ChrisCross, an amazing veteran artist, has worked for Milestone, Marvel, DC and many more. Recently, he illustrated WOLVERX-MEN at Marvel and STATIC SHOCK for DC/milestone. THE WINTERFIELDS is his first full creator-owned series.

– Andrew Dalhouse, is a fantastic color artist working for MARVEL, DARK HORSE or IMAGE. We are thrilled to have him on Noir Is the New Black.

– Greg Burnham is one of our favorite people and we’re proud to call him family. Greg’s credits include SUPERMAN, THE MILESTONE INITIATIVE and his creator-owned titles: TUSKEGEE HEIRS and SEARCH FOR SADIQQAH. He comes back to Noir Is the New Black to continue the story started in LITTLE ROCK FILES#1.

– Quinn McGowan, Greg’s partner on LITTLE ROCK FILES is an artist from Tennessee. He’s no stranger to Noir Is the New Black as he illustrated a story called “Heat of the Night” in the original anthology. He also developed his own comics including PROJECT WILDFIRE.

– Morby is also a member of the FairSquare Graphics extended family. Hailing from Lagos, Nigeria, the young artist and color artist has worked on the original Noir Is the New Black as well as LITTLE ROCK FILES#1, NO FUTURE and many others. He has also worked with Nigerian comic studios like Youneek and Etan Comics.

– Tyrone Finch is also coming back from an encore after his “Vera’s List” story made it to Noir Is the New Black. In comics, Tyrone has worked for Ahoy Comics (MAJOR URSA, DEADWEIGHT) and Humanoids too (SWINE). But most of his time is spent working for television. His credits include series like AVERAGE JOE, STATION 19 and BATMAN: CAPED CRUSADER!

– Todd Harris’ name may not ring a bell, after this Summer, you should know who he is. This uber talented artist and producer has more credits in Hollywood than you may think. He worked on JOHN WICK, MUFASA, THUNDERBOLTS, SHANG-CHI or SINNERS to name a few. And he’s now producing/show running the EYES OF WAKANDA show for Marvel! Todd’s art on the initial anthology was brilliant. And he’s back with his writing partner Tyrone for “What’s In a Name” as our bonus story!

– Jamal Igle is an award winning veteran creator from NYC. He is writer/artist/Creator of MOLLY DANGER for Action Lab Entertainment, the co-creator of VENTURE with Dynamo 5 creator/writer Jay Faerber, and the penciller/ co-creator of  THE WRONG EARTH with writer and Editor in Chief, Tom Peyer for Ahoy Comics, as well as SCOTT SNYDER  on their creator owned series, DUDLEY DATSON AND THE FOREVER MACHINE for Comixology.

Besides the talents, let’s mention lettering, which will be created by industry praised letterer DC Hopkins.
Editing will be again be TC Harris and Fabrice Sapolsky’s mission.
