Even though the Tarantino Star Trek film has not been greenlit, The Revenant’s scriptwriter Mark L Smith’s name has been attached according to a piece on Deadline this week and they have even reported that if it was to happen, it would be R Rated. JJ Abrams would still be involved as producer but this would be a very different version of Trek if it were to happen.
