Jim Lee Names Suicide Squad Rebirth Writer
Rob Williams Teams Up With DC’s Co-Publisher

DC Co-Publisher Jim Lee has revealed that he’ll be joined by writer Rob Williams on the upcoming Rebirth relaunch of Suicide Squad. Lee announced Williams’ involvement during his keynote presentation at last weekend’s In Store Convention Kick-Off event. This new run will begin in the fall with Suicide Squad Special #1 before going into a bi-monthly series in which Jim Lee will reportedly be one of several artists involved.
According to Lee, his favorite part of working on the Suicide Suad is “picking B or C level characters to bring to stardom.”
This won’t be Williams or Lee’s first stint on the Suicide Squad however, as they’re already the listed creators on 6 April’s Harley Quinn and the Suicide Squad April Fool’s Special one-shot.
As we rather enjoyed Williams’ run on Martian Manhunter, we here at Tripwire are glad he is getting another chance to play with DCU characters in a regular series.
