The Last Of Us returns next year and here’s a teaser for it…

Here’s the official description: “After five years of peace following the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie’s collective past catches up to them, drawing them into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind.”

Here’s a little information about the show from THR:

The 2023 debut season of The Last of Us was HBO’s most-watched first season series ever. The new season will debut sometime next year. The season was nominated for eight Emmys, including for Pascal and Ramsey’s performances, and for best drama series.

The release timing coincides with “The Last of Us Day,” September 26, which is the day that the cordyceps virus outbreak occurred in the original The Last of Us videogame by Naughty Dog.
