Movie Clickbait Roundup: Easter Eggs and Secrets No Mortal Was Meant to Know
All The News That’s Not
♦ When visiting other sites looking for stories to lift appreciate, we notice that there are a lot of stories that aren’t. Aren’t stories, we mean. We thought we’d save you time by ‘wrapping’ all the clickbait into one story:
X-Men: Dark Phoenix Has Wrapped Shooting
Yes, apparently the cameras have stopped rolling. Here’s a picture of what they’re not filming anymore (but are probably doing a hell of a lot of CGI and post-production on):

If you want you can head over to director Simon Kinberg’s social media where he has indeed revealed X-Men: Dark Phoenix has wrapped principal photography. You feel better for knowing that, right? Well…
Deadpool II Has Wrapped Shooting!
More excitement. Ryan Reynolds is not being filmed anymore. Not in the Deadpool costume, anyhow. Also:
Ryan Reynolds Has Revealed the First Deadpool II Easter Egg!
Like the others, this just needs a headline really. Oh, what’s that, you’d like to know what it is? His Katana’s have “Bea” and “Arthur” on their hilts. That’s after Arthur Bea, who starred in Golden Guys, the ill-fated Golden Girls spin-off that only TV history mavens like Reynolds know about. There are some pics on Reynolds social media – go and stalk him. You too could be a media reporter!
Jared Leto Confirms Involvement In Tron 3 Plans
Yes, Jared will be in Tron 3. It’s just that there’s no writer, or director, or fricking idea what it would be about yet. Leto said that things were still in “the early days” in terms of boarding yet another ’80s-influenced project. So, if there’s a Tron 3 he’ll be in it. Maybe. Well, he’d be interested in being in a film that has no staff, plan, release date or, well, anything really.
David Fincher Not Working for Marvel Studios Anytime Soon
Because, you know, he’s doing Mindhunter for Netflix. And Marvel haven’t approached him with a bag of cash. And why would he want to? David Fincher on Captain Marvel? Why would anyone want that? Fincher was asked about it, gave a one-line answer, and we spun it into a long non-story.
X-Men: The New Mutants Director Josh Boone Talks A Trilogy
Translation: Josh Boone has ideas for two more movies. He’s not telling you about them and they may never get made. Woo, and furthermore, Hoo!
Now I’ve done this I’m thinking the idea has legs – I could do it for comics non-stories and TV non-stories as well: Terry Beatty doesn’t like Wild Dog’s new costume in Arrow. News, Terry, no one likes his old costume either. Or his name and character for that matter. I could turn it into a franchise like that Comic Book Legends guy! I could… [That’s enough of your raving! – Ed]
