Gotham Adds To Its Cast
New Socialite Joins Fox Batman show
According to E! Online, actress Melinda Clarke has been reportedly cast as Grace Van Dahl in Gotham season 2. According to the entertainment website, Clarke’s character is not based on any comic book character but has been created specifically for the show. Grace Van Dahl is described as a rich socialite who will will lie, cheat and commit murder to get what she wants.
Clarke is best known for portraying Julie Cooper on The O.C., which she starred in alongside Gotham‘s Ben McKenzie, however Gotham isn’t her first superhero work. She also portrayed Jessica Priest in 1997’s Spawn.
Clarke will reportedly debut as Grace Van Dahl in episode 15 of season 2. Gotham is shown Monday nights on Fox in the US although it is currently taking a mid-season break.
