Kelsey Grammer is apparently in talks to portray the Doctor Niles “The Chief” Caulder in the live-action Doom Patrol television series on the DC Universe streaming service, according to our friends at The Hashtag Show.

Earlier this year, Bruno Bichir was reportedly cast for that role – debuting in Titans and then seguing to Doom Patrol. Bichir himself confirmed the casting on Instagram, but that does not rule out the role being recast.

Titans is currently filming in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Grammer is an actor with a lot of gravitas and a following thanks to Frasier and he is an intriguing choice. We shall see if he goes for it.
