Comics Pays Tribute To Steve Ditko
Goodbye To A Comics Legend
♦ The news was announced yesterday that Steve Ditko, who co-created Spider-man and who also drew Doctor Strange for Marvel, Shade The Changing Man at DC and many other notable titles, has passed away at the age of 90. Here’s a few tributes from Twitter…
1/7 pages headed your way. #RipSteveDitko. One of my favorite comic sequences of all time – the energy of the drawing leaps off the page. pic.twitter.com/GxuL3Y5vLO

Polite and unassuming–he never sought attention or the limelight but in many ways represented the hidden hero he saw in all of us. #RIPsteveditko 3/3

Steve Ditko gave us all bigger and better dreams — ones I still try to live by every day.
Spider-man.
The Question.
Dr. Strange.
They were all him. And us. Especially on those days when we needed his creations most. #RipSteveDitko pic.twitter.com/Jc9Mp3l7Vt— Brad Meltzer (@bradmeltzer) July 7, 2018

You don't have to draw pretty to make it. You have to draw like YOU. #RipSteveDitko

Aww, another titanic comic creator has passed–Steve Ditko, co-creator of Spider-Man and Dr. Strange, among much else. I never did get to meet Ditko in person but at least had some of the most interesting and confounding phone conversations of my life with him.

Steve Ditko was true to his own ideals. He saw things his own way, and he gave us ways of seeing that were unique. Often copied. Never equalled. I know I'm a different person because he was in the world. pic.twitter.com/2GFSA86Btj

There was a time when my dream was to draw Spider-Man, some 25 years ago or so. #RIPSteveDitko pic.twitter.com/hDpx8Oxtfl

Today is a day for listening to Pink Floyd's 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond', it could have been written for Ditko. #RIPSteveDitko pic.twitter.com/xqNlg4f6lt
