Magna Carta 800 Years Old This Year

British comics writer and artist Al Davison, whose career began in the eighties, has a CV that includes work for Titan, Vertigo and Fleetway and has collaborated with the likes of Jamie Delano and Mike Carey. He has also published his own work like The Spiral Cage and Spiral Dreams, which look at his lifelong struggle with spina bifida. This year he has been commissioned to create Manga Carta — a 10-page, 30-panel graphic tale of the journey and impact of the 800 year-old Magna Carta produced for Festival 800 in Lincoln.
