A Career In UK Indie Comics

British comics artist Carol Swain has just launched her website and here’s a few details about it…

We are pleased to announce the launch of the official website for acclaimed UK comics creator Carol Swain (Gast, Foodboy, Crossing the Empty Quarter, Giraffes in my Hair, Skin, etc). For the first time, fans will be able to contact Carol directly, and purchase original signed artwork from her graphic novels, as well as pages from her many shorter comic stories, and signed back issues of her debut comic Way Out Strips. The website also contains a new, eXclusive interview with Carol.

In addition, Carol’s graphic novel Gast, a coming-of-age story in which a young English girl investigates the suicide of a reclusive, cross-dressing Welsh farmer (published in France by Ca et La) has now been optioned for a short film by the French director Frédéric Bayer Azem.
