♦Game of Thrones Season 6 doesn’t started until 24 April but the show has released a series of teaser posters according to our friends over at Variety. Warning: The posters do contain possible spoilers for the new series.
Game of Thrones returns to our screens on April 24, and in advance of HBO’s hotly-anticipated premiere, Variety has an exclusive first look at one of several character posters for Season 6, featuring Sophie Turner’s Sansa Stark, last seen jumping from the battlements at Winterfell with Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) in the Season 5 finale.
Now that the show has overtaken George R. R. Martin’s novels, fans of his books are on a level playing field with viewers who only watch the series, and the new posters play up the mystery of that uncharted territory. Much like the recently released teaser trailer, the images utilize the House of Black and White’s eerie Hall of Faces, where the Faceless Men use the skin of the dead to create their disguises. Will some of our favourite characters be joining those chilling ranks this season? We shall have to wait and see…
