♦ HBO’s anthology show True Detective came back for a third season a couple of weeks back and here’s a new trailer from TV Promos for its fourth episode…

Here’s a little information on the fourth episode:”The Hour and the Day” Season 3 Episode 4 Promo – Hays (Mahershala Ali) and West (Stephen Dorff) see a possible connection between the local church and the Purcell crimes. As the detectives search for one suspect and round up another for interrogation, Woodard (Michael Greyeyes) is targeted by a vigilante group.

Season 3 of True Detective will tell the story of a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks, and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods. Ali will play the lead role of Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas.

Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali (Moonlight, Luke Cage) has the lead, and Nic Pizzolatto, the creator of the show, is now be sharing writing duties with David Milch, the legendary writer behind renowned shows like Deadwood and NYPD Blue. True Detective returns 13 January 2019 on HBO. From Creator and Executive Producer Nic Pizzolatto and starring Academy Award Winner Mahershala Ali, Stephen Dorff, Carmen Ejogo; the third season sees detectives investigating a grisly crime involving two missing children in the heart of the Ozarks.
