Uber Driver Has Worst Night Of His Life In Trailer For Night Teeth

A Night He’d Rather Forget

It’s hard to be a chauffeur, especially at night, what with passengers who are drunk, passengers who are creepy, or passengers who are the evil undead, hellbent on revenge. In the trailer for Night Teeth, below, driver Benny may come to realize that he needs a better, less dangerous line of work….if he survives the evening, that is writes Tripwire contributing writer Carol Pinchefsky…

In this upcoming Netflix film, college student Benny is hired to ferry two attractive female passengers (Debby Ryan and Lucy Fry)  from party to party, with one important caveat: They need to be home by morning. Sounds like a plan, but as they continue to hit the club scene (with their fists), Benny learns that there’s more to the women–and to the entire city–than he could have imagined.

It’s vampires, people. The city is run by vampires. That’s probably a tip he wasn’t expecting.

As the night progresses, the action becomes bloodier. The trailer doesn’t spell out the plot, per se, but it involves guns, knifings, humans used as blood bags, and bar fights. Still, it’s not a full-on gorefest, and the timing suggests a comedic touch. It looks like it could be fun, if your definition of fun involves trying to survive the machinations of a vampiric cabal. (That’s certainly our definition.)

The cast includes Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), Sydney Sweeney (The Handmaid’s Tale), and Megan Fox (Transformers, Jennifer’s Body). Night Teeth will be released on October 20,  just in time for 2021 Halloween fright fest.
