Any of you who are wrestling fans will have got annoyed by / got excited about the clash between on-screen hero Stephen Amell and WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes (in his Stardust persona) at SummerSlam last year. The rest of you, you sensible souls, can look away now. It’s generally agreed that Amell made the best and least embarrassing appearance in the ring of anyone in recent memory and actually wrestled with Rhodes. Well, despite the fact that Rhodes and WWE have parted company, he is coming to Arrow next season. For those of you who are worried about this, Rhodes has worked in TV before (Warehouse 13) and is a huge comics and science fiction fan.

The announcement was made by Amell today during their joint appearance at Heroes & Villains FanFest in Secaucus, New Jersey. “I’m so fired up,” Amell said. “You can probably expect Stephen and I to get into another fight,” Rhodes teased.
