Sherlock Holmes and The Empire Builders is an epic steampunk tale that sees Holmes a man whose reputation is diminished and so when Dr. Watson is made an offer to work with Crick and Franklin to unravel the DNA helix, it is an offer he can’t turn down. But their boss, Oswald Mosley, has diabolical plans for their scientific research, so Watson begins to regret leaving Holmes. Holmes is forced back out into the world at large, albeit a very different world to one he used to operate in, with the assistance of a small group of rebels to bring Mosley down and restore the status quo.
