In two four-parters, Tom Baker stars (as the Doctor) alongside Louise Jameson (as Leela) and, after debuting in last year’s drama The Ravencliff Witch, Nerys Hughes officially joins the TARDIS crew as sculptor, Margaret Hopwood!

Making a special appearance in Antillia the Lost is Anjli Mohindra (The Peripheral, Bodyguard, The Sarah Jane Adventures) as roving reporter Theodora Markway. And in Ice Heist!, Adele Lynch (who played Iraxxa in 2017’s Doctor Who TV story Empress of Mars) guest stars as the Ice Warrior envoy, Kaltakk.

The box set’s stellar cast also includes Oliver Chris (Motherland, What’s Love Got to Do with It?), Adrian Rawlins (best-known for playing James Potter in the Harry Potter franchise), Beth Goddard (Manhunt, Gimme Gimme Gimme), and Nicholas Briggs as the Ice Warriors.

Recently, the world changed for Margaret Hopwood. Everything she knew was turned upside down by the arrival of a strange man in a blue box. And now nothing in her life seems the same. 
So when he comes back with a lady called Leela and an invitation to an unusual art gallery, she’s more than happy to join him for the ride. And what a ride it is. 

Because it’s an art gallery on a distant world… where a deadly plan is about to commence – one involving creatures called Ice Warriors.

Antillia the Lost by Phil Mulryne (4 parts)

Antillia. A place of mystery. A manufactured island in space, lost to time. But now it’s finally been found.

The Doctor and his friends arrive on Antillia at the same time as an expeditionary party, delighted to solve one of the great mysteries of history. But they may have found more than they bargained for.

Tom Baker said: “Louise is always simply wonderful and I’ve known Nerys Hughes since she was a teenager – she still has a wonderful capacity to be surprised and amazed.

“I was spellbound – my Doctor’s old hearts were beating rapidly. We had such fun in another galaxy, with other monsters and some charming characters. I had the time of my life.”

Nerys Hughes added: “I think Margaret’s fallen a bit in love with the Doctor – he’s disturbed her very quiet life and swept her into a different world. She’s unnerved by him.

“A really nice part of this box set is that Leela and Margaret are a team, instead of being antagonistic or jealous. We have some very nice scenes together and Louise Jameson is just so lovely and the warmest person.”

Louise Jameson added: “There’s a relationship forming between Margaret and Leela. They’re polar opposites – Margaret is a bit of a scaredy cat and Leela’s showing her the ropes and helping build her confidence. It’s a good dynamic.”

Nerys Hughes debuted as Margaret Hopwood in the March 2022 Big Finish box set, Doctor Who – The Fourth Doctor Adventures Series 11: Solo. The talented actor also played Brenda Williams (mum of Rhys) in Torchwood and Dr. Todd in the 1982 Doctor Who TV story, Kinda.

Anjli Mohindra is well-known for her many performances in successful TV shows such as The Sarah Jane Adventures, Bodyguard, Dark Heart, Cucumber, Vigil, Wild Bill, and The Peripheral.

Adele Lynch is familiar to Doctor Who fans for playing the Ice Warrior Queen Iraxxa, opposite Peter Capaldi, in the 2017 TV story Empress of Mars. She has also featured in the Big Finish releases The Diary of River Song Series 04 (2018) and Doctor Who: Cry of the Vultriss (2020).
