Marc Guggenheim Hints At New DCTV Crossover Coming
Joining Forces Again
♦Over at an interview in EW, CW producer Marc Guggenheim just hinted that the next DCTV crossover could be better than the previous one…
“The crossover is always the most challenging thing we do, but it’s also the most fun. Each year we feel the pressure [to top ourselves.] Topping last year’s, that’s the high bar, if there’s no other reason than what do you do that’s bigger than aliens?” Guggenheim said in the interview.
“We’re hoping to do a true four-part crossover. The great thing about our dear friends at the CW and [president] Mark Pedowitz picking up the shows as early as they did [is that] it has allowed us to start building the schedules for next season,” he went on say.
The last crossover was okay but the Supergirl episode was separate from the rest so even though we don’t know what they have planned, presumably it will be a story that involves all of the characters in a more cohesive fashion.
The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow return this autumn, joined by Black Lightning, who may or may not be part of the crossover.
