Lionsgate+ Offers First-Look Photos From The Highly Anticipated Seventh Season Of Outlander

LIONSGATE+ announced today the 16 June return of the fan-favourite time-traveling drama series “Outlander,” confirming the upcoming seventh season will be split into two parts of eight episodes each, with the back half airing in 2024. It was previously announced that the seventh season would be an extended 16 episodes. The series has already been renewed for an eighth and final season and a prequel series, “Outlander: Blood of My Blood” centring on Jamie Fraser’s parents has been greenlighted for a first season. The highly anticipated seventh season of “Outlander” is set to premiere on Friday, 16 June exclusively on LIONSGATE+ in the UK with new episodes available to stream weekly on Fridays on the premium international streamer.

LIONSGATE+ previously announced several new additions to the “Outlander” family, including Charles Vandervaart as “William Ransom,” Izzy Meikle-Small as “Rachel Hunter” and Joey Phillips as “Denzell Hunter,” joining returning fan-favorites Caitríona Balfe as “Claire Fraser,” Sam Heughan as “Jamie Fraser,” Sophie Skelton as “Brianna MacKenzie,” Richard Rankin as “Roger MacKenzie,” John Bell as “Young Ian,” David Berry as “Lord John Grey,” Caitlin O’Ryan as “Lizzie Beardsley” and Paul Gorman as “Josiah” and “Keziah Beardsley.”

The “Outlander” television series is inspired by Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling books, which have sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide, with all nine of the books gracing the New York Times best-seller list. The “Outlander” television series has become a worldwide success with audiences, spanning the genres of history, science fiction, romance and adventure in one amazing tale.

Matthew B. Roberts, Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis, Toni Graphia, Luke Schelhaas, Andy Harries, Jim Kohlberg, Caitríona Balfe and Sam Heughan executive produce. “Outlander” is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Left Bank Pictures and Story Mining & Supply Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.

  • The LIONSGATE+ App for iOs and Android is available for download on the iPhone and iPad, as well as on a wide range of Android supported devices. Up to four users can watch simultaneously and enjoy offline downloads of select shows and movies. App users can enjoy personalized recommendations of shows and movies based on users’ previous viewing interests and select their preferred language for audio or captions.
  • LIONSGATE+ is available on Prime Video Channels via the Prime Video App to watch anytime, anywhere on smart TVs, iOS and Android mobile devices, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets and games consoles and through the web at www.amazon.co.uk/channels.
  • Subscribers to the LIONSGATE+ channel on the Apple TV App can watch online or enjoy offline downloads of their favorite shows and movies available through LIONSGATE+, which is available on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and select Samsung smart TVs.
  • Virgin TV customers who add the LIONSGATE+ subscription to their package will be able to view the content by pressing Home on their V6 remote control and then clicking On Demand followed by Box Sets.
  • Sky Customers who have Sky Glass, Sky Stream, or Sky Q can access LIONSGATE+ by saying “Open LIONSGATE+” into their voice remote, or on Sky Glass use far field voice, or simply find it in the apps rail.
  •  LIONSGATE+ is available on Roku Streaming Players and Roku TV models.
