An adult animated Harley Quinn series will be making its debut on Warner Bros. new streaming service. Although we don’t have a release date yet, we do know that Powerless producers Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacher will produce. Margot Robbie has been asked to voice they role she made iconic in Suicide Squad.
The series will take inspiration from the popular Harley Quinn comic by Amanda Connor, Jimmy Palmiotti and Chad Hardin. In that popular series, Harley moves out on her own to try and get past the Joker. Poison Ivy and other heroes and villains are also expected to show up. With a Suicide Squad sequel and Mad Love in the works and the Batman and Harley Quinn animated movie, it doesn’t look like Harley’s popularity is going to fade anytime soon.
