The Legend of Tarzan is an upcoming American action adventure film based upon the fictional character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, scheduled for release in 2016. Directed by David Yates, co-produced by Jerry Weintraub, and written by Stuart Beattie, Craig Brewer, John Collee, and Adam Cozad. Its cast features Alexander Skarsgård in the title role, and Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, Djimon Hounsou and Christoph Waltz.
