Daniel Craig: Bond No More?
Will There Be A New 007 Announced?
♦UK Bookmakers William Hill believe that Spectre will be Daniel Craig’s last James Bond film.
Britain’s biggest bookmaker William Hill are now odds on at 4/11 that Daniel Craig does NOT star in any further Bond films, although you can get 7/2 that he does one more and 5/1 that he signs up for a further two films.
Meanwhile, Tom Hardy is the new 2/1 favourite to be named as Daniel Craig’s replacement after bets of up to £500 were placed on him. Damian Lewis is the second favourite at 5/2.
“Sadly, the odds suggest that Daniel Craig’s time as James Bond is over and if the odds are correct, Tom Hardy will be next to don the dinner jacket,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
William Hill has the following actors in the running as the next James Bond: 2/1 Tom Hardy, 5/2 Damian Lewis, 9/2 Idris Elba, 11/2 Henry Cavill, 12/1 Aiden Turner, 12/1 David Oyelowo, 14/1 Michael Fassbender, 16/1 Richard Armitage, 20/1 Orlando Bloom, 20/1 Sam Riley.
However, this week Christophe Waltz, the villain in Spectre, has declared that if Craig remains, he would appear in another 2 James Bond films. We’ll just have to see what happens.
