The Mandalorian comes back for a second season on 30 October on Disney Plus and EW have just run a preview of it in photos plus two covers for their latest issue…

This is what showrunner Jon Favreau said about the second season in the EW piece:

“The new season is about introducing a larger story in the world. The stories become less isolated, yet each episode has its own flavour, and hopefully we’re bringing a lot more scope to the show.”

Favreau continued to offer a few more hints about the new run:

“As we introduce other characters, there are opportunities to follow different storylines. The world was really captivated by Game of Thrones and how that evolved as the characters followed different storylines—that’s very appealing to me as an audience member.”

The Mandalorian season two starts on Disney Plus on 30 October.
