Eddington is a 2025 American contemporary Western film written and directed by Ari Aster, and starring Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Micheal Ward, Austin Butler and Emma Stone. It follows the political and social turmoil in the fictional city of Eddington, New Mexico, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The film had its world premiere at the main competition of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on May 16, 2025, and will be released in cinemas by A24 on July 18, 2025
