Tripwire#65, which came out in April, had a cover created by our wonderfully talented friend Jeff Carlisle. But we somehow managed to miss crediting him inside the pages of the magazine…

Tripwire’s latest issue celebrates two major film and genre figures under one cover created by artist Jeff Carlisle. 2026 is the 80th birthday of veteran moviemaker Steven Spielberg, director of such classics as Jaws, ET and Raiders Of The Lost Ark while we lost movie poster legend Drew Struzan (Star Wars, Harry Potter) in 2025. So Tripwire will take a look back at both of these men’s amazing careers. In the rest of the issue, we look at 40 years of Frank Miller’s Dark Knight and Moore and Gibbons’ Watchmen, take a deep dive into the history of one of the most established art book retailers Bud Plant Art Books, still in business after fifty five years and there’s the return of our On The Shelf column, taking a look at the latest art books, graphic novels and collections out there. Our well-respected stripwire section also returns to round off the 100 page full colour A4 high production value magazine.
