Here’s wikipedia’s description: The Girl in the Spider’s Web is an upcoming crime thriller film directed by Fede Álvarez and written by Steven Knight, Álvarez and Jay Basu, based on the novel of the same name by David Lagercrantz. A reboot of the Millennium series, the film features Claire Foy taking over the role of Lisbeth Salander from Rooney Mara, and follows Salander as she tries to rescue and exact vengeance for battered women. Sverrir Gudnason, Sylvia Hoeks, Claes Bang, LaKeith Stanfield, Cameron Britton and Stephen Merchant also star. It is scheduled to be released by Columbia Pictures in Sweden on 26 October 2018 and in the United States on 9 November 2018.
