♦Beset by production problems when he tried to make it seventeen years ago, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote from director Terry Gilliam is back on again. And at last week’s Cannes Film Festival, he hosted a press conference about it. Our friends over at the Irish Examiner tipped us off so here it is…

Gilliam has cast Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and fellow former Python Michael Palin in the film, which is expected to start shooting later this year. The original production spawned one of the most fascinating documentaries ever made about a film, Lost in La Mancha, which we here at Tripwire think is brilliant. We are excited to hopefully see this on the screen after all these years.
