Goodbye To An Italian Poster Legend

The sad news has reached us that legendary Italian movie poster artist Renato Casaro has just passed away at the age of 89…

Casaro created posters often but not always with producer Dino De Laurentiis for the likes of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, My Name Is Nobody, Quadrophenia, Flash Gordon, Octopussy, Dune and Army Of Darkness. He had a career that began in the mid-1960s and ran until 2019 where he created fake Italian movie posters for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood with Leonardo DiCaprio’s character Rick Dalton.
