♦The 10th New York Comic Con was two weeks ago and it apparently attracted a record-breaking 181,000 visitors so here is the second part of a selection of photos we shot at the show…
New York Comic Con celebrated its 10th anniversary this year with an attendance of around 181,000 people filling the Javits Center and a number of other venues. Marvel, DC, Boom!, IDW and many other publishers were represented at the show. In just 10 years, it has gone from a small show to a huge monolith. It does have a lot of TV content but it also has a huge amount of comics content too. This year, in terms of media, War For The Planet of The Apes, the third in the reboot movie series, was present at the show as was new Warner Bros. animated movie Return of The Caped Crusaders plus TV shows Man In The High Castle, Gotham and Ash vs Evil Dead. Its artists alley featured some of the finest comics artists currently working in the field including David Mack, Bill Sienkiewicz, Walter Simonson, John Paul Leon and many more.
