Joss Whedon Enlists His Hollywood Friends To Make A Political Statement
Avenging For November’s Election
♦We haven’t seen Joss Whedon doing much in terms of films since Avengers: Age of Ultron but this week a video has surfaced featuring all of his actor friends campaigning for the November US elections, so we thought our visitors might enjoy seeing it…
Our friends over at EW.com had some more information about it:
The writer-director has launched Save the Day, a super PAC focused on encouraging Americans to get out and vote on Election Day. The first phase of that effort is a star-studded PSA that launched this Wednesday featuring the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Julianne Moore, Yvette Nicole Brown and Leslie Odom Jr.
Whedon debuted the initiative on his restored Twitter page, writing, “Hey! Did I miss anything? Lol jk the world is on fire here’s a thing I made.”
The world’s biggest celebrities explain why it is important that you vote on November 8!
