This is actually Favreau’s second role in Star Wars, as he actually voiced the Mandalorian rogue Pre Vizsla in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. While Mandalorians’ are “aliens” in Star Wars lore (everyone is, essentially), given Vizsla’s human appearance and Howard pointing out that Favreau would “voice” a character, it would seem that it will be a seperate part. That, and Darth Maul actually beheaded Vizsla in the “Shades of Reason” episode, which in Star Wars’ timeline took place several years before the events of Solo.
