Four Disc Star Wars: The Force Awakens Coming In October

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to have a second Blu-ray release this October with the 4-disc Special Edition which features both a 3D Blu-ray version of the film for the first time AND a commentary by the film’s director, J J Abrams.

The release features the original Blu-ray disc along with the 3D version, the DVD version and the Digital HD version of the film along with all of the previous bonus features. In addition to the new commentary we can see more deleted scenes and further behind-the-scenes features.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Special Edition arrives in the UK on 31st October and the US on 15th November. There is likely to be a 4K Extra Special Edition some time in the future too.
